If you build a playlist and share it with a friend, all uploaded content will be removed from the playlist. Seems like while they allow you to upload music, they are making it difficult to use/find/access it.Īny uploaded music will not have access to Lyrics, etc even though they have the exact song in their library. So if you upload 25 new songs, you will need to do a search for each one individually, click Uploads as it ALWAYS defaults to YTM results, and then add it to a playlist. Last Added auto playlist is gone as well.
Songs no longer have Date Added, nor Song Plays. Here's where I have found that it's lacking: I don't see them building features in to do so in the future either. YouTube Music is currently not configured for users who want to bring along their music library and curate it there. I did the transfer from GPM to YTM about a week ago and here's what I can share about my experience thus far:
